IIS Log Files filling
up your server?
When running popular websites, the IIS log files can become very large and
will take up lots of disk space so if your not careful, your website might
become unavailable because there is no disk space left for the web server
to run properly. You don't want to delete these log files because they
contain valuable information from your website(s), So you need to find a way
to decrease the space needed by these log files.
IIS LogArchive is an archiving utility for IIS which can do this
automatically for you. IIS LogArchive will compress the log files into ZIP files,
the size of these archives is often less then 1/10 of the size of the original log
file(s).
